The Catcher in the Rye in Context

Wokshop participants will look at some sample responses to The Catcher in the Rye and discuss the strengths and weakness of the writing. We will look at some simple but effective strategies for getting students to put pen to paper and will then spend some time writing. We will ‘workshop’ our writing to examine our own writing process and the complexities of ‘exposing’ ourselves as writers. Book online
