Welcome to VATE

The Victorian Association for the Teaching of English is a professional body established to promote the interests of English education and to allow English educators in Victoria to exchange ideas.

VATE brings together teachers in government, Catholic and independent schools, as well as tertiary educators and pre-service teachers.

The Annual General Meeting of VATE for the 2014 Calendar Year will be held next Wednesday 22 April 2015 at the VATE Conference Room, 2/134-136 Cambridge Street, Collingwood, 3066.
