The Victorian Association for the Teaching of English is a professional body established to promote the interests of English education and to allow English educators in Victoria to exchange ideas.
VATE brings together teachers in government, Catholic and independent schools, as well as tertiary educators and pre-service teachers.
Christmas/holiday closure: The VATE office will be closed from Tuesday 20 December 2016 and will reopen Wednesday 18 January 2017. The VATE Bookshop will be closed from Tuesday 20 December and will reopen Tuesday 24 January 2017 after stocktake.
