The Victorian Association for the Teaching of English is a professional body established to promote the interests of English education and to allow English educators in Victoria to exchange ideas.
VATE brings together teachers in government, Catholic and independent schools, as well as tertiary educators and pre-service teachers.
Due to major refurbishment, the VATE Office and Bookshop will be closed from Thursday 23 June throughout the July school holidays. The VATE Office will reopen Tuesday 12 July, and the VATE Bookshop will be back in business from Wednesday 13 July. Please email all book and exam orders, and your resource requests and queries to
