Description: |
Since its introduction, VCE English Language has been steadily growing in popularity amongst students and teachers who wish to explore English from a different perspective. This comprehensive program has been designed for teachers who will be teaching either VCE Units 1 and 2 or Units 3 and 4 English Language, or teachers wishing to teach the subject in the future. Arrangements have been made with the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne for the VATE English Language Mini-Method to be recognised as equivalent to a 12.5-point Masters-level subject. This will involve additional assessment, some additional class-time to discuss the assessment requirements, and an additional fee. If you take this accredited option, you will be given 12.5 points credit if you enrol in the MGSE Master of Education. More details of this option will be given when you enrol in the VATE program. Participants will receive a resource handbook and a copy of Living Lingo.
