| VATE offers both individual and institutional membership.
Sign up as VATE member for 2009 now (valid from 1 January until 31 December 2009), or download the new 2009 Membership form.
Institutional membership operates at different levels, according to whether the institution has (1) fewer than 1000 students, (2) more than 1000 students, (3) two campuses, (4) more than two campuses.
There are many reasons why you should choose to become an individual member. Individual membership offers concessional rates to pre-service teachers, first-year graduates and alumni. It also offers a range of other advantages in the form of reduced fees for activities, personal copies of publications and a range of discounts (see Member Benefits).
Our new Member Website is now up and running. You will need your Member username and password to login (these were sent to you when you first joined VATE this year). As an individual or institutional member of VATE you are invited to access these pages, to contribute to these pages and to give us ideas for what to include on these pages. You will find the latest editions of Idiom, the VATE journal, and the newsletter that is sent out each term. A range of resources prepared for the new VCE English and ESL study can be accessed in this section. Find out how to access the Wikis for English, ESL, and Literature. We hope to hear from you about what else you, as a member, need from VATE, and especially to receive any units of work or links to other resources that you have found useful. |
