VCE Context Group networks

A number of teachers are keen to start up discussion groups for the various Context areas. Meetings will run from 4:30-6:30 at the VATE Conference Room, Carringbush Business Centre, 2/134-136 Cambridge St, Collingwood. There is no charge to attend, please bring ideas and handouts to share. A limit of 35 people per group applies.

Please contact the teachers below if you are interested in attending one of the discussion groups. Specific meeting dates will be specified as we go along.

The imaginative landscape

Encountering conflict
Jo McLeay has set up an Encountering Conflict Ning (professional networking site) where those who are teaching this Context can join to share resources, ask questions and join the discussion.

Literature teachers' network

This group meets once a term at the VATE Conference Room in Collingwood. Meetings are from 5.45pm - 7.45pm. The group's aim is to share ideas and resources on VCE Literature texts. Small discussion groups focus on specific, pre-arranged texts. A VATE Literature Network wiki has also been set up where teachers can share text resources.
