During 2003 and 2004 VATE Council and Curriculum Committee prepared responses to two documents released by the Department of Education, "The Blueprint for Education" and "The Essential Learning Framework". These VATE papers can be accessed here. The result of the consultation process culminated in the release of the "Victorian Essential Learning Standards", released in December 2004.
