Welcome to VATE

The Victorian Association for the Teaching of English is a professional body established to promote the interests of English education and to allow English educators in Victoria to exchange ideas.

VATE brings together teachers in government, Catholic and independent schools, as well as tertiary educators and pre-service teachers.

NB: Due to the Conference, the VATE Bookshop will be closed from Wednesday 21 November and will re-open Wednesday 5 December. The VATE Office will be closed Wednesday 28 - Friday 30 November inclusive and will re-open Monday 3 December.
