2021 Online VCE English Moderation Series

Series overview

This series of Zoom sessions is designed to help deepen your VCE English moderation practices. Run by experienced teacher and assessor, Helen Billett, this series of professional learning sessions will run across Terms 1-3 in 2021. Prior to each session, each delegate will be provided with some sample VCE English SACs. Helen will then lead a discussion unpacking the key characteristics of each task and providing guidance for benchmarking assessment.

Series presenter

Helen Billett is an English teacher at Woodleigh School. She has 30 years’ experience in education, including 20 years of assessing VCE Exams. Helen specialises in professional learning focused on the areas of the VCE English Study Design, exam preparation, assessment, moderation and feedback. Helen is also able to provide strategies for early career teachers.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be emailed to events@vate.org.au. Cancellations received by 12pm five working days prior to the event date will be charged a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations received after this will receive NO REFUND. Registrations can, however, be transferred to another staff member. Please email events@vate.org.au the details. If you do not attend and have not notified VATE according to the above policy, you will receive no refund.  Please note: If this event is cancelled due to COVID government or venue restrictions, you will receive a full refund.
