Literature Network Meeting 1

Description

Date: Tuesday 5 March

Time: 4.30pm-6.30pm (registration and refreshments from 4.30pm)

Our first meeting for 2019 is designed to help us learn from our collective 2018 Literature experience and to embrace a new Literature year. Each of our three meetings will seek to achieve a balance between developing our overarching expertise with the Study Design, and explicit engagement with new and newish texts.

Meredith Maher, the Chief Assessor will speak to us about the 2018 Literature examination, followed by Briony Schroor who is presenting on a new text, Hippolytus. Briony will talk about speech and silence; victims and villains; mortals and immortals; misogyny and feminism.
