VATE publishes sample examination papers for the VCE English studies each year. These are available for purchase by schools ONLY to assist senior students in preparing for the end-of-year VCAA examinations. Please note that orders for 2026 VATE sample VCE exams will be processed from Tuesday 11 August 2026. In line with VATE's ongoing commitment to environmentally sustainable practices, there will be ONLY one print-run for English and Literature print examination papers. NB: To protect VATE's copyright, please note that all digital exam files are password-protected.
Important: All orders for PRINT copies of English and Literature exams MUST be placed by Friday 26 June 2026.
Notice for Literature: VATE makes every effort to contact rights-holders and confirm permission to reproduce passages from copyright-protected texts. Should a publisher decline permission, VATE will provide only the page numbers and the opening and closing lines of the selected passages on the relevant pages of the exam documents and will advise schools as soon as possible.
