2024 VATE State Conference

Registrations are now open for the 2024 VATE State Conference at Deakin University on Thursday 21 November and Friday 22 November.

2024 VATE State Conference registrations are available for both in-person and hybrid delegates. Please note: The Conference registration pages may load slowly due to the large number of workshops on offer.

VATE 2024 VCE Online Student Revision Lectures

VATE’s ever-popular online student lectures are now available to order for VCE English, EAL, English Language and Literature exams. These recordings offer students the opportunity to learn from experienced VCE teachers and examiners who provide insights into key aspects of the exams for each of the VCE English Studies.

Middle Ground

The purpose of VATE’s Middle Ground publication is to provide middle years’ teachers (Years 7-10) with access to activities and lesson sequences that can assist with the teaching of English concepts, skills, knowledge, and ideas. Each edition of Middle Ground is mapped to the Victorian and Australian curricula and is supported by extensive support materials including professional reading, media articles, audio visual material, as well as tables, handouts and worksheets.
